Quality History - Belleria Pizzeria started years ago in Ohio. In 1953 Lena Bell opened a small carry out pizza shop on Albert Street in Youngstown, serving only pizza. The shop was an instant success. The quality of the homemade dough and sauce combination with the finest meats and cheeses available set Belleria apart from any other pizza place in Youngstown. Belleria is now one of the most popular places for pizza in northeast Ohio and becoming ever more popular in Columbus. Belleria is not just a pizzeria, we have great dinner entrees, homemade wedding soup and desserts, salads, and a delicious sandwich lineup that includes hand cut potato fries!

The unique “old world” taste that has consistently made Belleria one of Youngstown’s best tasting pizza competes head to head with established chains that offer the same commercial taste. In the area of product quality Belleria has separated itself from much of the competition because of three main reasons: the pizza sauce, the pasta sauce, and the dough. The dough is made fresh daily from a secret recipe. The pizza and pasta sauces are also secret family recipes from the original Italian recipes of 1902. The Belleria Pizzeria corporate office has contracted a local Youngstown company to make and distribute the sauces directly to the franchise stores. This assures that each location will have the same taste and quality for the most important items.
